DMCA and Copyright Policy

On this page

We respect copyright. If you think something on paint3dlab.com or dl.paint3dlab.com breaks your copyright, tell us. We will act on it quickly.

How to send a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright notice". Please include:

  1. Your signature, written or electronic. If you act for the owner, use your own.
  2. A description of your work that you believe was copied.
  3. The exact address (URL) of the page or file on our site.
  4. Your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use is not allowed by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that your notice is accurate. Also state, under penalty of perjury, that you own the copyright or may act for the owner.

If details are missing, it may take us longer to act.

What we do next

When we get a complete notice, we remove the material or block access to it. Where we can, we tell the person who supplied it. If the claim is about content we made ourselves, we review it and reply to you.

About the Paint 3D file

We host Microsoft's Paint 3D app package, unmodified. If Microsoft, or someone acting for Microsoft, asks us to stop offering it, we will remove it promptly. Send that request to the same address.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you think that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to [email protected]. Include:

  1. Your signature, written or electronic.
  2. What was removed, and where it was before.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or wrongly identified.
  4. Your name, address and phone number. Add a statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the US Federal District Court for your address, or, if you are outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found. Also state that you will accept legal papers from the person who sent the first notice.

False claims

Under US law, anyone who knowingly makes a false claim in a notice or counter-notice may have to pay damages. If you are not sure, get legal advice first.

Repeat infringement

We remove material from anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.
